The third Audemars Piguet “Time with the Masters” golf day was successfully held at Lan Hai International Golf Club in Shanghai. Tim Sayler, Chief Marketing Officer of Audemars Piguet, David von Gunten, Chief Executive Officer Greater China of Audemars Piguet, along with Clifford Wong, Country General Manager of Audemars Piguet Mainland China, and guests from mainland China and Hong Kong enjoyed a challenging and rewarding day on the golf course with two Audemars Piguet Golf Ambassadors, Henrik Stenson and Peter Uihlein.
Prior to the competition, an exclusive clinic session with the two ambassadors was organized on the driving range, during which Henrik Stenson and Peter Uihlein took the opportunity to share their golfing experience with the guests.
Audemars Piguet’s golf ambassadors kick-started the event by hitting the opening drives together. Following the opening ceremony, the two golf masters joined the guests on the course which included a number of special challenges such as ‘Nearest to the Pin’, ‘Longest Drive’, ‘Longest Putt’ and ‘Straightest Drive’.
Commenting on the event, David von Gunten said: “It is indeed a very exclusive and rare opportunity not only to have two world-class golf masters playing golf with our guests, but also to see them personally demonstrating and sharing their experience with us during the clinic session. Our guests were able to take inspiration and get useful tips from our ambassadors, and most importantly, to apply them. ”
The worlds of watchmaking and golf have always been interlinked as both skills require a blend of passion and precision, technique and artistry – all governed by rigorous discipline. As members of the golf ambassador dream team, Henrik Stenson and Peter Uihlein share the values of Audemars Piguet: integrity, passion, respect and sophistication.
They perfectly embody the brand’s philosophy, “To break the rules, you must first master them”.
